It’s not as fun as a FiST, but it’s not as sterile as a GTI. They’re fun, better dailies, but I gladly deal with the suffering. Especially since the biggest suffering was self inflicted.

Oh man....a ken block green FiST? That might be one of the few fists that keeps any value down the line...But glad to see it gets hooned anyways.

And if you have a choice, drive a 2015+ FoST. The pre facelift cars are crashy, bashy muscle cars more than a proper hot hatch IMO. The refinement went up several levels.

I badly want to. That Kona Blue FoST has me feeling some kind of way (even though I utterly hate the center stack).

oh nevermind. THey updated it. I was referring to this hateful disaster. Ugly design, hideous ergonomics, the world’s most obnoxious power locks system... ugh.

Oh wow that is....not at all how mine looks. I do have the base seats and radio still and they are all wonderfully uncomplicated to use. I consider mine to be one of the last of the dinosaurs though. No touchscreen, no nav, no power seats, no crazy differential or electronic aids, no adjustable suspension, but it does have a heaping helping of power, a mountain of torque, and a 6-speed manual. Also it’s dirt cheap and you can get it in yellow.
